Father Sukegawa’s Bible study

The Bible study sessions with Fr. Sukegawa will be held on Saturdays, September 12 and 26, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please join us.

Father Lee Dongjin (Anselmo) 's liturgy study
(Yunokawa Church)
On Saturdays August 22 and 29, Mass will be celebrated from 9:30 a.m.in Yunokawa Church, and a study session of about one hour is planned after Mass. Please join us.

Upcoming Masses

Starting Wednesday, August 12, Mass will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.(The schedule might be changed. Please check the website.)

Sunday August 30

Catholic Convention. A talk by Fr. Anselmo will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:15 a.m.
Theme of the talk: “How should we move forward together as a district?”

Sunday September 6

There will be a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion led by Deacon Okeda.

No Masses will be celebrated from September 14 through 18, as the priests will be away.

Sunday, September 13

Following the joint Mass at 10:00 a.m., there will be a joint visit to the cemetery. Please bring your own flowers for the graves.

Sunday September 27

There will be an English Mass celebrated by Fr.Sukegawa. at 11:00 a.m.

Flower Ministry
From May through August 2, donations totaled ¥5,813, expenses were ¥4,540, and the remaining balance was ¥63,042. Thank you for your cooperation.

From Café Bell
The total amount of donations in July was 6,050 yen, bringing the overall total (including various expenses) to 88,942 yen. Thank you always for your cooperation. The next café day is scheduled for September 20. There will also be seasoned mixed rice. Let us enjoy friendly fellowship over tea.

From the Hakodate District Youth Exchange Group
From Sunday, August 30 to Sunday, September 13, we will hold a panel exhibition summarizing volunteer activities in Thailand.
From August 4 to 14, high school students will carry out volunteer activities in Thailand. We plan to share with everyone the encounters we had with many people across national and language barriers.
