Father Sukegawa’s Bible study

The Bible study sessions with Fr. Sukegawa will be held on Saturdays, October11and 25, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please join us.

Father Lee Dongjin (Anselmo) 's liturgy study
(Yunokawa Church)
On Saturdays October 3, 10, 24 and 31, Mass will be celebrated from 9:30 a.m.in Yunokawa Church, and a study session of about one hour is planned after Mass. Please join us.

A Liturgy of the Word service will be held by Deacon Oketa.

Sunday, October 18

The Hakodate-area joint retreat will take place.
10:00 a.m.: Talk by Fr. Konda
Theme: “God’s providence is boundless; throughout my life, I live within it.”
Liturgical Hymns Nos. 52 and 53
11:15 a.m.: District Joint Mass, followed by a party celebrating Fr. Konda’s Golden Jubilee.
Yunokawa Church will provide sekihan (red bean rice).

Sunday, October 25

There will be an English Mass celebrated by Fr.Sukegawa at 11:00 a.m.

Monday, November 2 (All Souls’ Day)

Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Offering forms for the deceased will be distributed starting October 4. Please complete the form and place it in the collection box by Sunday, November 1.

Month of the Rosary
October is the Month of the Rosary. We will pray the Rosary every Sunday from 8:55 a.m. Please maintain silence in the church.The Rosary will not be prayed on October 18 because of the joint Mass.

Flower Ministry
From May through August 2, donations totaled ¥5,813, expenses were ¥4,540, and the remaining balance was ¥63,042. Thank you for your cooperation.

From Café Bell
The total amount of donations in August was 5,095 yen, bringing the overall total (including various expenses) to 73,507 yen. Thank you always for your cooperation.

The next Café Bell gathering is planned for October 4, after the evacuation drill. Takikomi gohan (seasoned mixed rice) will also be served.
Please invite others and come together. We are always looking for people willing to help, so we appreciate your support.
