Father Sukegawa’s Bible study

The Bible study sessions with Fr. Sukegawa scheduled from June to August will be suspended due to the priest’s circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.

On Saturdays August 22 and 29, Mass will be celebrated from 9:30 a.m.in Yunokawa Church, and a study session of about one hour is planned after Mass. Please join us.

Upcoming Masses

Sunday August 2 and 16

On Sundays August 2 and 16, there will be a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion (service of the Word) led by Deacon Okeda.

The 6:30 p.m. Mass on Friday, August 7 will be canceled.

Starting Wednesday, August 12, Mass will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Saturday August 15

On Saturday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m., there will be a Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a combined district Mass.The Sunday Mass on Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. will be held as scheduled.

Saturday August 23

On Sunday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m., there will be an English Mass celebrated by Fr.Sukegawa.

From the Liturgy Committee
September 13, after the joint Mass, there will be a joint grave visitation. Beginning Sunday, August 9, a sign-up sheet for bus riders will be available, so please write your name if you would like to use the bus.

From the Social Activities Committee
A new wheelchair has been purchased. It is located near the entrance. Anyone who needs it is welcome to use it.

From Café Bell
The total amount of donations in June was 20,791 yen, bringing the overall total (including various expenses) to 87,352 yen. Thank you always for your cooperation. The next café day is scheduled for August 9. Let us enjoy friendly fellowship over tea.[japaneseformissionaries]

From Sunday, August 30 to Sunday, September 27, we will hold a panel exhibition summarizing volunteer activities in Thailand.
From August 4 to 14, high school students will carry out volunteer activities in Thailand. We plan to share with everyone the encounters we had with many people across national and language barriers.
