Sunday,November 30
The Advent communal penitential service will be announced once the details are decided.On November 30th (the First Sunday of Advent), there will be a joint district Mass starting at 10:00 a.m. On that day it will be a youth exchange Mass, with foreigners and high school students serving.
Sunday, December 14
On Sunday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m., there will be an English Mass celebrated by a Filipino archbishop at Motomachi Church. There will be no English Mass at Miyamaecho Church this month.
Wednesday, December 24
On Wednesday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m., there will be a Mass for the Nativity of the Lord (Mass during the night) celebrated by Fr. Vicney and Deacon Okeda.
A candlelight service will also be held.
Thursday December 25
On Thursday, December 25 at 9:30 a.m., there will be a Mass for the Nativity of the Lord (Mass during the day) celebrated by Fr. Sukegawa.
Thursday January 1
On Thursday, January 1 at 9:30 a.m., there will be a Mass for Solemnity of “Mary, the Holy Mother of God” celebrated by Fr. Sukegawa.
No regular Masses
There will be no regular Masses on January 2 and 3.
From Café Bell
The total amount of donations in October was 2,270 yen, bringing the overall total (including various expenses) to 72,344 yen. Thank you very much for your continued support. The next collection is planned for December 7. The first snow has already fallen, so let us enjoy friendly conversation over a warm cup of tea. Please feel free to join us, and share any opinions or requests you may have.
Flower Ministry
From August to November 16, the total amount of donations was 15,935 yen, with expenses of 20,022 yen, leaving a remaining balance of 60,511 yen. Thank you very much for your contributions. We are also looking for people who can continue to help with the flower ministry, so please feel free to speak to us if you are interested.
